to arrange a visit.
Learners must be age appropriate to the grade level they are applying to (KG-Grade 5).
Parents fill out a basic information sheet by visiting our campus.
The Principal holds an interview with the parent(s) and learner(s). She will enquire about academic, social and behavioral background. The Principal will also introduce the school and all its aspects (philosophy, student body, staff, physical plant, curriculum)
A digital placement test is assigned for all learners in Math and English (comprehension and writing), and Arabic. Placement results will be computer-generated.
The Arabic test for learners exempt from the Lebanese Program is a level test only; the results of this test will not affect the admission decision.
Applicants to Preschool classes (3 and 4 years of age) will be interviewed by an Early Childhood specialist or the School Principal.
A psycho-educational assessment is requested for learners with learning difficulties. The file is sent to the Learning Support Department at one of our sister schools for an initial assessment. A meeting with the School Counselor or the Head of Learning Support is assigned if requested by the department. If a child is diagnosed with special needs, he/she will be referred to one of our sister schools for year one of operation to rejoin LWIS Hazmieh in the following year.
Results of the interview and the academic placement test are evaluated and a check on references and previous grades is made by the Principal. A decision on admission is taken based on the above.
Parents are informed of the admission decision, recommendations, and conditions within 48 hours of the placement tests by email and telephone.
Prospective parents are asked to complete a full application by visiting our campus. The application can also be emailed upon request.
The registration process is complete once the tuition fees are paid.
